Position Description 

Please note, this is an internship offered on a 6 month fixed term contract & part-time basis (20 hours per week).

Climate Impact Partners, a leading provider of high-quality carbon credit programs, is seeking a highly motivated and organized intern to join our growing team for 6 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the Voluntary Carbon Market and see the impact that high-quality projects can deliver.

In this fast-paced role, you'll help research potential companies who can help increase our impact. You’ll learn about researching target audiences and how to engage them. This role is based out of our London office with the opportunity to work remotely too. It is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to couple building a sustainability career alongside post grad studies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect strategically: Work closely with our Lead Generation and Marketing team to research and target companies that align with our mission and growth goals.
  • Analyze data: Using trends in the market to help us better target and to improve our efficiency and success rate.
  • Generate high-quality leads: Effectively research and identify their needs.
  • Become a HubSpot and Salesforce pro: Leverage these tools to organize your work and track progress efficiently.
  • Shape the role: We encourage your input and ideas to help us refine and optimize the prospecting process.
  • Crush goals: Achieve your weekly leading indicators of leads generated and track how these flow to business growth and climate impact.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Who You Are:

  • A highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
  • An understanding of web- and AI-based research techniques and aptitude to learn.
  • Drive and self-motivation to work through repetitive tasks by setting goals.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • A passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive environmental impact.
  • Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to building a successful sales team.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in the sustainability or climate change sector.
  • Previous experience in statistics, marketing or sales.
  • CRM knowledge – in particular HubSpot and Salesforce.
