Position Description 

As an intern on the Programs Team, you will receive real work experiences through a meaningful project that will add significant value to our programmatic work.

Project Overview

This internship focuses on comprehensive research and outreach efforts aimed at gathering and updating essential information from Echoing Green's extensive network of nearly 1,000 Fellow alumni. The core objective is to collect crucial details such as email addresses, websites, current places of employment, job titles, and biographies.
The accurate and up-to-date data collected will play a pivotal role in strengthening the connection among our Fellows, allowing us to effectively reintegrate them into their peer communities. This effort is vital for enhancing our support mechanisms, which include nominating Fellows for funding opportunities and awards, engaging them as mentors, and offering extensive wrap-around services tailored to their needs.

Echoing Green's summer internship program runs from June 3 - August 2, 2024.
Responsibilities include:

-Conduct desk research on websites and LinkedIn to collect updated data (email, website, place of work, title, bio, etc) on nearly 1,000 Fellow alumni
-Collaborate with the Community, Capacity, and Communications teams to conduct direct outreach (email, phone, zoom) to nearly 1,000 Fellow alumni to update their data (email, website, place of work, title, bio, etc)
-Update Fellow data in an excel spreadsheet or Salesforce in partnership with the Tech team
-Create a document to Fellow bios to prepare for copy editing by the Communications team
-Communicate regularly across the Programs and Thought Leadership (Comms + Tech) teams regarding project progress and challenges
-Participate in team meetings

Requirements:

productive manner
-Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and research skills
-Ability to collaboratively work on a team in a deadline-driven environment with multiple
priorities
-Proficient in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneNote)/Google Docs, Google Sheets required
-Previous internship or professional office experience strongly preferred

Benefits
Compensation

Rate: $20.00 per hour (projects will not exceed 20 hours per week).
The internship program runs between June 3 - August 2, 2024.
This is a part-time remote internship opportunity available to candidates residing in the United States only.
