Katya Armistead Shares Her Leadership Expertise with ELI Students
Guest lecturer, Katya Armistead, Assistant Vice Chancellor & Dean of Student Life at UCSB, shared her leadership expertise with ELI students. Katya, a UCSB alum, regularly works with students, promotes inclusion in the campus community, and ensure equitable access to UCSB learning environments for all at UCSB. She is a trained facilitator for The Leadership Challenge Workshop® (a research-based, behavioral leadership development framework), and she teaches a leadership course in the UCSB Gevirtz Graduate School of Education.
Working regularly with Miles Ashlock, who previously visited ELI, Katya picked up here he left off on the fundamentals of leadership, effective leadership strategies, and strengths-based leadership.
