Miles Ashlock Shares Best Leadership Practices
Guest lecturer, Miles Ashlock, Chief of Staff at the Division of Student Affairs, helped ELI students discover their best personal leadership style with a dynamic discussion. Miles, a UCSB alum, has considerable experience working with students and in leadership training, having lead workshops for Leading from Within and in facilitating self-assessment and leadership development workshops. ELI students learned the fundamentals of leadership, explored their own best leadership experience, and explored ways to self-assess, and learn and grow as leaders. These fundamentals and practices will help students in implementing their ELI environmental leadership projects.
