Climate Grief Workshop

Informational Zoom Meeting on Climate Grief, Organized by Former ELI Student

In this meeting you will have the opportunity to learn about climate grief and its history, in addition to how it may be affecting you, and how to find support. Climate grief has been an ongoing issue since early environmental movements, and has only become more apparent as environmental justice and protection have become increasingly threatened within the past decade. Sarah McNelis, as a fourth year Environmental Studies major, has created this event in order to create a sense of community for both herself and others who are struggling with climate change’s daunting effects on our world. Lori Pye will give the eco-psychological perspective a professional in the field, which will be valuable for those hoping to go into environmental fields in the future.

The zoom will be on the 21st of October from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. https://ucsb.zoom.us/j/84449486108?pwd=andnZ2hrdVlnUXM1MFhta2JSYmFkUT09
